SCAPR GA 2019 held in Sao Paulo, Brazil

SCAPR General Assembly 2019 was held from May 14 to 16 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.


Approx. 100 people of 44 societies from 36 countries shared information on issues and activities improving international co-operation for the benefit of collective management of performers' rights.


Spotlighted during a session of 'Highlights of National Issues from Members', Mr. Kazuo Shiina, vice-Chairman of CPRA International Committee, provided a comprehensive overview of the differences of performers' rights between Japanese Copyright Law and WPPT and introduced CPRA's lobbying efforts to amend the Copyright Law for protecting the performers on the right of communication to the public fully and well-balanced.
